Tamara Southward

Tamara Rumin Southward is a writer across travel, culture and lifestyle, arts and entertainment, fashion and cinema.

Tamara currently works as a Commerce Producer at Condé Nast Traveller, working across anything from hotel and restaurant reviews, destinations and places to stay, shopping roundups, film, style and culture pieces.

Tamara has also worked as a digital writer across a variety of Condé Nast titles. You can find her editorial work in Condé Nast Traveler/Traveller, British GQ, GLAMOUR, Vanity Fair, House & Garden and The World of Interiors. Her previous commercial work can be found in British Vogue, British GQ, Vanity Fair, Architectural Digest, Condé Nast Traveller, GLAMOUR, The World of Interiors, House & Garden and WIRED.

Born in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, Tamara grew up between Switzerland and Eastern Canada and has lived in London, England since 2019.

Outside of work, you’ll find her at the movies, running while on the phone to her BFF or family, at the barn, listening to '50s and '80s music, sipping red wine in one of her favourite restaurants or writing alongside a big cup of coffee.
